I think I'm going to jump. I'm contemplating it deeply. I wonder how the breeze would feel as I near the pavement. Or if I would take flight like a majestic eagle. Maybe just lightly plummet like a leaf in the fall. The reality is that I would neither fly nor float safely down. I would drop as quick as a rock and crash at the bottom. I would hope to see you on the sidewalk waiting to catch me. Maybe you could be up here with me. You're neither there nor here. Why? You said your love was ever last but that was a lie. Trust was bestowed upon you and you tainted it. Now I'm on the edge with only one way out. Perhaps two ways but this is quicker
